Westbrook Little league fields, located behind the Westbrook Town Hall, were upgraded and dugouts were rebuilt, with a $10,000 grant from the Foundation.
Valley Shore YMCA
A five-year commitment, totaling $100,000, was made by the Foundation to the YMCA Building Fund.
A grant from the Foundation enables the church to complete restoration of the clock tower, a center-of-town landmark since it replaced the church's steeple following the 1938 hurricane.
A grant of $10,000 enabled the church to complete capital improvements both inside and outside the church. St. Paul's Church is a historical landmark in Westbrook and was the church of the Spencer family.

Fire Safety House
With a grant of over $40,000, the Westbrook Fire Department has acquired this portable Fire Safety House. It is utilized in teaching our children about fire safety, about how to safely extricate themselves from a burning structure, and how to report fires after dialing 911.

Westbrook Town Center Playground
$33,000 was granted for the completion of this playscape, located near the Westbrook Fire Department, and dedicated to the memory of Barbara A. Spencer.
The roadway into Cypress Cemetery, located off Rte. 153 just north of the I-95 interchange, has been paved with the help of an $11,000 grant from the Foundation. Spencer family burial plots are located in this cemetery.
Nearly $15,000 has been granted to Camp Hazen at Cedar Lake in Chester, for tuition assistance for Westbrook youths, and the construction of a Climbing Wall.
Westbrook Public Library
With a grant of $ 16,788, the Westbrook Public Library has been able to join the Libraries-On-Line computer system. Matching funds were provided from the Library's own endowment funds.
